These two gentlemen (Joe, MS University of Colorado, and Bryan, PhD Stanford) are looking to expand the Amigo's for Christ Laboratory to allow for soil testing. Contract laboratory testing of soil samples currently cost thousands of dollars in Nicaragua. However, purchase of equipment for approximatly 10,000 USD will allow them to perform the necessary soil tests for a fraction of the current contract laboratory cost. The results from these tests allow for the proper fertilizer(s) to be added to the Nicaraguan farmer's soil to allow for significantly greater crop yields, resulting in greater economic benefit for the farmer and his community. Please join me in making this a reality by contribting to this worthy cause.
