Recently, the students of Crossroads Community church took a "Go Trip" to Nicaragua. The trip was focused on a continued effort by Amigos for Christ to provide improved faculties to the state of Chinandega communities. Much time was spent in La Pascuala, a small community on the outskirts of Chinandega, where the effort of getting clean water in La Pascuala is a real drag.
Families spend hours hauling it, which means less time for fun stuff and a higher chance of getting sick. Women in the community have to physically pump water over 1 million times per year to fill their buckets for enough water to care for their families. And then walk these heavy buckets on their heads back to their homes! It's arduous and exhausting but is the only way to survive.
Our mutual interests are focused on bringing La Pascuala modern water facilities. This means:
We have a significant goal: To raise $100,000. It's a bold target, but creating a better future for La Pascuala is crucial. Regardless of size, your donation is a step towards this brighter future. The need is urgent, and your support can make a difference today.
Let's work together to provide clean water for La Pascuala. Your donation can be the difference between a life of struggle and opportunity. Be a hero for a brighter future in La Pascuala!
